## Description

Paradromics Inc. Their mission is to build a direct data interface with the brain, revolutionizing the way we address unmet medical challenges. Unlike existing brain-computer interfaces, Paradromics' Connexus® Direct Data Interface (DDI) collects an unprecedented number of individual neural signals with a fully-implantable device designed for long-term daily service. Their first clinical application of the Connexus DDI focuses on providing communication solutions for severely motor-impaired individuals. By transforming neural data into text or synthesized speech, Paradromics aims to improve the lives of patients in need. Paradromics leverages advanced neuroscience research, microelectronic engineering, and medical device expertise to create a high data-rate platform for long-term medical use. With a talented and diverse team of experts from various disciplines, they are committed to developing cutting-edge medical technologies that enable people and enhance their quality of life. Based in the thriving neurotech hub of Austin, Texas, Paradromics has garnered significant funding and support, reflecting their commitment to driving innovation and progress in the field of neurotechnology.
