## Description

Parkour Lannion is a sports association based in Lannion, Brittany, founded in 2019 to make parkour accessible to people of different ages, abilities and experience levels. The association offers coached training designed to help members learn safely and progress at their own pace. Sessions can include physical conditioning, balance and flexibility work, introductory or advanced parkour techniques, and practice in acrobatics, freerunning, speedrunning and Chase Tag. The teaching approach emphasizes mutual support, kindness, respect for oneself and others, and care for the surrounding environment. Training uses equipment such as wooden modules, bars and landing mats to build skills before participants move on to outdoor locations. Parkour Lannion welcomes beginners as well as experienced practitioners and adapts training to members’ goals; registration is limited to support safe, personalized instruction. The association also promotes the local practice community around Lannion’s public Parkour Park, located at Place Saint-Yves. Open around the clock, the park was developed with the city as a progressive space for learning, improving skills and exercising.
