## Description

Parque Fundidora is a public urban park in Monterrey, Mexico, transforming the site of the historic Fundidora de Fierro y Acero steelworks into a place for culture, recreation, and nature. Covering 144 hectares, it welcomes visitors daily from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with free entry. Since 2001, the park has also served as an Industrial Archaeology Site Museum, preserving 16 historic buildings alongside contemporary attractions.

Visitors can explore the 2.5-kilometer Paseo Santa Lucía waterway, the Horno 3 steel museum and science center, and the Centro de las Artes, which includes a cineteca, phototeca, and galleries. The park also offers the free Zona Splash water-play area, a dog park, two lakes, 23 fountains, sports areas, and a 3.4-kilometer cycling path amid 80 hectares of green space. Its year-round program includes festivals, concerts, film, exhibitions, races, cycling, tournaments, and family activities. Parque Fundidora provides visitor information, maps, event listings, and public transparency resources through its official website.
