## Description

Party in the Ponds is a volunteer-led, not-for-profit Community Interest Company based in Fishponds, Bristol. Started by local residents in 2016 through the Make Sunday Special programme, it has grown from a small gathering into a major free community festival, attracting thousands of visitors. Its purpose is to celebrate the people, creativity and businesses of Fishponds and the surrounding Bristol area, while bringing the community together for a day of entertainment and discovery.

The annual event features live music, singers, bands, dancers, drama performances and acts from local schools and groups. Visitors can also explore artisan and market stalls offering food and drink, crafts, clothing, jewellery, gifts and children’s toys, alongside charities and community organisations. Party in the Ponds invites vendors to apply for pitches and welcomes volunteers, performers, sponsors and donations to help fund the event.

The 2026 festival is scheduled for 13 June at Vassalls Park, Fishponds, and will mark the event’s tenth anniversary.
