The project came into effect on November 30, 2016. PASEC aims to enhance adaptation to climate risks, improve agricultural productivity in targeted communities, and enhance the government's capacity to respond to crisis situations. With a funding of 117.


8 million USD and a duration of 6 years, PASEC operates in 5 regions within Niger. The beneficiaries of PASEC include farmers, herders, community-based integrated sub-projects, producer organizations, women, youth, and vulnerable groups. By providing support and implementing integrated communal projects, PASEC strives to enable these stakeholders to overcome climate-related challenges and improve their livelihoods.
