## Description

The Partnership for African Social and Governance Research (PASGR) is a dynamic and impactful brand that aims to enhance research excellence in governance and public policy in Africa. As a pan-African not-for-profit organization based in Nairobi, PASGR seeks to increase the capacity of African academic institutions and researchers to contribute evidence-based research that can positively impact pro-poor development policies in Africa. PASGR works in collaboration with individual academics, researchers, higher education institutions, think tanks, civil society organizations, businesses, and policy communities across the region and internationally. It supports the production and dissemination of policy-relevant research, designs and delivers professional development courses for researchers and policy actors, and facilitates the development of collaborative higher education programs. With its mission of advancing research excellence and a vision of a vibrant African social science community addressing the continent's public policy issues, PASGR is making significant strides in promoting inclusive governance and shaping policies for the overall well-being of women and men in Africa.
