## Description

Associação Passivhaus Portugal is an organisation dedicated to the Passive House sector in Portugal. It connects professionals, building owners and the wider community through information, training, events and practical resources focused on high-performance construction. Its work addresses key construction challenges, including airtightness, window installation, thermal bridges, and building systems and equipment.

A central initiative is the Passive House Center in Pombal, a practical training facility described as pioneering worldwide and open to the community. The association offers courses and seminars, including training for Certified Passive House Designers and Certified Passive House Tradespersons, and shares news, project information and sector updates through its website and newsletter. It also showcases certified Passive House buildings in Portugal and promotes collaboration through strategic, institutional, media and municipal partnerships.

The organisation provides links to resources such as the Passive House Database, the Passive House Institute International, the International Passive House Association and Passipedia. Based in Ílhavo, Associação Passivhaus Portugal supports learning and engagement around Passive House design, construction and certification.
