Founded by Yvon Chouinard four decades ago, Patagonia has grown into a medium-sized global business with a serious responsibility to make a positive impact on the environment. This commitment is reflected in their annual donation of one percent of sales to grassroots environmental organizations and their role in establishing the Sustainable Apparel Coalition. In 2012, Patagonia became one of California's first B Corps, solidifying their dedication to social and environmental responsibility. Now, Patagonia is taking the next step by launching $20 Million and Change, an internal fund aimed at supporting responsible start-up companies that bring about positive environmental benefits. With a clear mission to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis, Patagonia is not just a brand, but a movement towards a better future.
