## Description

The Florida Prepaid College Foundation is dedicated to combating childhood poverty through its Path to Prosperity Scholarship Program, which aims to raise $20 million in funding for college scholarships targeted at Florida’s most economically disadvantaged students in grades 9-12. This initiative collaborates with the Florida Chamber Foundation as part of its Equality of Opportunity Initiative, focusing on aiding children from the state's poverty-stricken areas. By providing access to Florida Prepaid College Plan scholarships, the program seeks to open pathways to higher education for over 5,000 deserving students. Contributions to the program will be matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling the impact of each donation. In addition to scholarships, the Foundation supports various educational initiatives, including projects highlighting Black History Month and Hispanic Heritage Month. Engaging with local communities and education leaders, the Florida Prepaid College Foundation is committed to creating lasting change and extending opportunities for underprivileged youth in Florida, making college more affordable and accessible for all.
