## Description

Patina is a scent technology company creating fragrances beyond the limits of traditional perfumery. The brand explores how molecular design and machine learning can expand the palette available to scent makers, developing compositions that have never existed before. Its work ranges from high-fidelity recreations of materials such as Bulgarian Rose Otto to interpretations of evocative references, including the inside cover of a 1970s paperback. Patina presents scent as a medium for both precise replication and imaginative discovery, collaborating with perfumers and creative partners to bring new ideas to life.

The company was founded by Sean Raspet, an artist and perfumer who has spent 12 years studying the molecular structure of scent and flavor, and Laura Sisson, a former Google engineer who has built machine-learning models for olfaction. Together, their backgrounds combine expertise in molecular design, artificial intelligence, and perfumery. Patina invites interested customers and collaborators to contact the company by email for samples and pricing, and offers further information through its website and social channels.
