## Description

Patricia A Phillips is an independent creative artist whose work brings together visual art, music and personal reflection on recovery. Through her website, she shares examples of handmade fabric lampshades and ceiling shades, alongside original songs she has composed, written and performs. Her sculptural shade designs are made by commission, with bespoke, tailored and floral styles available for people seeking distinctive pieces for their homes.

Music is another central part of Phillips’s creative offering. Her compositions feature vocals and piano, allowing visitors to explore a different expression of her artistic practice. The site also includes a blog informed by her own experiences with addictive and negative patterns. Through these reflections, Phillips aims to offer helpful insights to others who may be facing similar challenges.

Presented under the theme “Life imitates art” in recovery, Patricia A Phillips’s work connects creative expression with lived experience. Visitors can view her lamp-shade work, listen to her songs and contact her directly to enquire about commissions or her creative projects.
