## Description

Paula Francis is an author and Happiness Walker whose work explores happiness, meaning, and what matters most in life. She walked 10,000 miles around the United States, interviewing people she met along the way and gathering their perspectives on these questions. The journey became the subject of her book, 18 Pair of Shoes: Adventures of a Happiness Walker, available to order in print and through Audible.

Francis’s account also reflects the personal challenges of the walk. She describes its physical demands, emotional resilience, and spiritual endurance, as well as how experiences of loss—including the loss of family members, her home, and her marriage—shaped her search for meaning and joy. Her project was both a personal pilgrimage and a professional undertaking.

Through her website, Francis shares information about her books, the walk, media appearances, and blog, and provides contact details for wholesale inquiries. Readers can also explore Faces of America, featured among the site’s visual content.
