## Description

Paws & Applause LLC is a woman- and veteran-owned pet care business serving Maryville, Alcoa, Knoxville, and nearby communities in Blount County, Tennessee. Founded by Maddie and David Van Fleet, the company was created to offer compassionate, professional care with the personal attention pets can miss in larger facilities. Its small-group approach, private kennel, and on-site, around-the-clock supervision support a more individualized experience.

Services include dog boarding, daycare, board-and-train programs, dog walking, drop-in visits, overnight pet sitting, pet taxi, and pet health monitoring. Boarding includes exercise, playtime, meals, medication, indoor sleeping rooms, and photo updates. Training is led by NePoPo® Graduate trainer David Van Fleet, with programs for dogs of different ages and needs. Bath & Nails services include bathing, nail trimming, and basic ear cleaning; full grooming and haircuts are currently unavailable.

New clients can arrange a free, no-obligation meet and greet and facility tour. Paws & Applause also offers discounts for military members, veterans, first responders, teachers, and qualifying multi-pet households.
