## Description

PayPal Giving Fund is an IRS-registered 501(c)(3) public charity that helps other charities benefit from online giving. Through partnerships with platforms including PayPal, Facebook, Instagram, GoFundMe, eBay, Humble Bundle, and Twitch, it connects charities with donors where they already spend time and support causes. Charities can enroll, update their profiles with a logo and description, and become more visible to potential supporters across these platforms.

When donors contribute, PayPal Giving Fund securely processes eligible donations, sends receipts to donors, and grants eligible funds to a charity’s PayPal Business account each month. Its services also include consolidated reporting, with access to historical payouts, pending funds, and shared donor details from multiple platforms. These tools are designed to reduce donation administration so charities can focus more time on their missions.

The organization also offers ways for individuals to search for charities and donate, and invites businesses to become partners and enable charitable giving through their websites or apps. Since 2018, PayPal Giving Fund reports raising $4 billion globally to benefit charities.
