## Description

PCD Smiles is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to supporting people with primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD). Funded primarily through donations, the organization aims to bring comfort and encouragement to PCD patients of any age who are hospitalized or have recently returned home after a hospital stay. Its central program provides Cheer Packages, which can be requested through a secure form. PCD Smiles currently serves patients in the United States and Canada.

The organization also offers educational and community resources, including articles about PCD, a resource list, physiotherapy and airway-clearance content, and awareness activities. Its website features recurring informational topics, practical ideas, and opportunities for patients and caregivers to connect through the Turtle Talk Café Facebook group. The PCD Artist Project brings artists together to raise awareness and support the Cheer Package program. Donations can be made to fund packages or contribute items, and supporters can explore PCD awareness merchandise and turtle care ribbon gear through affiliated shops.
