# PCF - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `pcf.network` ## Description The Polkadot Community Foundation (PCF) is an organization that carries out decisions made by DOT holders through Polkadot’s on-chain OpenGov system. Following approval of its PCF 2.0 mandate in June 2026, the foundation also takes a more proactive role in the ecosystem, helping bring Polkadot products to people and hosting units with their own funding. At OpenGov’s direction, the PCF can sign contracts, make payments in fiat currency, enforce intellectual property rights, and engage service providers. It has no shareholders, members, trustees, or beneficiaries. The foundation supports teams that propose units aligned with its bylaws and objectives. Approved units can begin operating as pilots; the Human Web Initiative is one example. The PCF also publishes open-source software intended to contribute to Polkadot’s success. At Web3 Summit 2026, it published and deployed proof-of-concept versions of the Polkadot App, the developer tool Playground.dot, and payments. Through these governance, operational, and product activities, the PCF connects community decisions with practical services and tools across the Polkadot ecosystem. ## Industries - 🖥 Computers Electronics and Technology - 🖥 Blockchain and Cryptocurrency _(under Computers Electronics and Technology)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idUWB5lkvT/w/180/h/180/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1794085222868) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Parchment | #f1ead6 | accent | | Lunar Green | #3b4a3a | dark | | Medium Carmine | #a64b38 | light | ## Fonts - EB Garamond — asset _(google)_ - EB Garamond — asset _(google)_ - EB Garamond — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
