## Description

Habitat for Humanity Portland Region ReStores are public home improvement stores and donation centers serving Beaverton, Gresham, Portland, and Tigard. They offer new and gently used furniture, home décor, appliances, building materials, and other household items at discounted prices, with additional finds available through their online store. Shoppers can browse for bargains while supporting local Habitat for Humanity homebuilding and home repair programs.

The ReStores also accept donations of new and gently used goods. Individuals can arrange a pickup online or drop items off at a store, while businesses can request free pickups for overstock, discontinued products, or excess inventory; business donations are tax-deductible. The organization encourages community members to volunteer, with no experience required.

By giving usable goods a second life, the ReStores help keep materials out of local landfills and support more vibrant communities. In 2025, they diverted 8,600 tons of reusable materials from landfills. Through shopping, donating, and volunteering, customers and community members contribute to Habitat for Humanity’s work to help people access decent, affordable homes.
