Welcome to Peace Education Initiative Rwanda! We are a non-governmental organization dedicated to preventing genocide and mass atrocities through education. Our mission is to create a cohesive society where our beneficiaries benefit from a better life, and we work with local leaders to establish and maintain peace in their villages. We believe in the power of healing and storytelling, where beneficiaries share their experiences and learn from what happened. Our organization also focuses on promoting social cohesion and peace through resilience and dialogue. We strive to create a climate of peace that allows genocide survivors and perpetrators to live harmoniously, respecting everyone’s rights. Additionally, we provide youth training on human rights, empowering them to become defenders and agents of change in their communities.
