## Description

Peak2002 is a Swiss ski brand developing alpine skis made with European flax fibre biocomposites. Born in the Swiss Alps and named after Le Moléson, the brand aims to combine on-snow performance with a construction designed to last across multiple seasons. Its prototypes replace carbon fibre with a flax-and-glass-fibre layup: glass provides stiffness and moisture protection, while flax is selected for vibration damping. Peak2002 is testing how this construction performs on snow.

The skis also feature a replaceable, bio-based TPU skin, currently under final material selection, intended to take seasonal scratches and wear so owners can renew the surface rather than replace the ski. Four models are in development for different conditions: the Piste P 70, All Mountain AM 96, Freeride FR 110 and Touring TR 95. Prototypes are designed and tested in the Swiss Alps, and the range is not yet commercially available. Peak2002 invites interested skiers to join its waitlist for development updates and launch news. Its environmental figures remain estimates, with a life-cycle assessment in progress.
