## Description

The Peak Center for Autism provides treatment, intervention, and skill-building services for children diagnosed with autism, using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Its center-based and in-home ABA services begin with an assessment and an individualized plan for each child. Treatment is delivered by a trained, one-to-one behavior technician and overseen by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

The center also offers social skills groups for children ages 18 months to 17 years. These interactive sessions focus on developing and practicing social skills, with a high staff-to-client ratio and BCBA supervision. PEAK Abilities and Beyond serves children ages 9 to 13 through small groups or one-to-one instruction, covering areas such as communication, listener responding, daily living, and social skills.

For caregivers, the PEAK Parent Group offers BCBA-led discussions and practical strategies grounded in ABA. Additional services include training tailored to individual needs and Functional Behavioral Assessments, which gather information to help identify the causes of challenging behavior.
