## Description

PEDALBOARD.org is an independent, musician-led information hub for guitarists and enthusiasts interested in effect pedals, pedalboards, amplifiers, and related gear. Created from a passion for music and equipment, the site brings together resources developed alongside the German-speaking Pedalboard community, a Facebook group founded in 2013 that has around 16,000 members.

Its collection includes a large database of power requirements for more than 6,000 effect pedals, a directory of German guitar makers with free listings, and an archive of information and circuit diagrams for vintage amplifiers and effects. Visitors can also explore pedal and equipment manufacturers, effect types, original-versus-clone comparisons, pedalboard planning resources, DIY projects, and material about guitars, pickups, electronics, and accessories. The blog features articles and reviews covering guitars, amplifiers, effects, and music equipment, with opportunities for readers to contribute their own knowledge and stories.

The site is privately run and makes its collected information and guitar-maker listings freely accessible. Visitors can support its upkeep through donations or purchases in the shop.
