## Description

The Pedro Pallares Foundation (PPF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization focused on reducing poverty and advancing social justice. It works to empower under-resourced communities, promote equitable public policies, and improve support for neurodiverse individuals. Guided by a commitment to inclusion and equal opportunity, the foundation aims to help people and communities thrive.

Its programs address several interconnected needs. PPF supports food security by seeking to improve access to nutritious, safe, and sufficient food. It works internationally and promotes civic engagement so marginalized communities can make their voices heard and influence decisions. The foundation also views affordable housing as a foundation for family stability and greater opportunity, and helps people navigate the healthcare system, with an emphasis on accessible mental and behavioral health services.

PPF offers scholarships to neurodiverse students and people from under-resourced communities, supporting higher education and academic success. Awards may consider financial need, field of study, and academic performance. Its Emergency Need Fund provides small grants to students facing a one-time financial hardship that threatens their studies.
