## Description

PEDRR, the Partnership for Environment and Disaster Risk Reduction, is a network focused on protecting people from disasters through nature-based solutions. It promotes the sustainable management, conservation, and restoration of ecosystems to reduce disaster risk, support climate adaptation, and strengthen resilient development. The network highlights how healthy wetlands, forests, coastal areas, and other ecosystems can act as natural infrastructure, helping limit exposure to hazards while supporting livelihoods and providing essential resources.

PEDRR shares evidence, practical guidance, and examples to help professionals and communities apply ecosystem-based approaches. Its online Knowledge Hub includes a virtual library of publications, case studies, tools, training materials, and other resources on topics such as Eco-DRR, climate change adaptation, biodiversity, and disaster risk reduction. The website also features news, stories, events, educational courses, opportunity mapping, regional network information, and an expert roster. Through webinars, workshops, podcasts, and opportunities to connect with specialists, PEDRR supports collaboration across regions and sectors. Its resources are intended to help users work with nature to build resilience to disasters and climate change.
