## Description

The Palestinian Employment Fund (PEF) serves as the national umbrella for employment initiatives, functioning as the executive branch of employment policies established by the Ministry of Labor. Founded in 2003 under Presidential Decree No. (9), PEF is committed to creating sustainable job opportunities for diverse groups, including youth graduates, women, marginalized communities, and individuals with disabilities. The organization promotes both traditional job placements and self-employment through financial portfolios and essential technical support, such as business advisory services. PEF's strategic goal is to alleviate poverty and unemployment by fostering entrepreneurship and supporting small projects. The Fund's beneficiaries encompass various vulnerable segments of society, aiming to empower those in need. PEF is also proactive in developing emergency response plans to address crises stemming from political and economic challenges. Its Board of Directors reflects a comprehensive representation of the labor market, including government, labor representatives, and civil society, ensuring an inclusive approach to employment solutions.
