## Description

PEmicro is a renowned brand that specializes in embedded flash programming and development. With a rich history dating back to 1980, PEmicro has been at the forefront of innovation in this field. They achieved numerous milestones, including the development of the world's first general-purpose EPROM programmer and the pioneering concept of an in-circuit simulator. They also introduced the groundbreaking background debug mode. Founded by Dr. David A. Perreault, a Boston University professor, PEmicro started with a single question - how to create a versatile tool that could erase and program the various configurations of programmable memory from different manufacturers. Driven by this question, they built the world's first general-purpose programmer based on the Z80 microprocessor. This programmer offered software control, configurable pinouts, and a patch panel for easy setup. Today, PEmicro has grown into an award-winning international business, specializing in embedded systems tools. Their Cyclone programmers and Multilink debug probes are widely recognized as some of the fastest and most advanced production tools available. These tools seamlessly integrate with popular third-party IDEs, offering engineers unrivaled features and performance at a great value. PEmicro remains committed to excellence, designing sophisticated and reliable products that facilitate faster and easier development cycles. They prioritize customer satisfaction by providing speedy development and high-quality production programming without breaking budgets. With a strong philosophy of flexibility and adaptability, PEmicro continues to empower engineers with advanced toolsets.
