About
Description
Pendleton Place is a brand dedicated to protecting, equipping, and healing children, youth, and families. Founded in the 1970s by members of the Junior League of Greenville, Pendleton Place emerged from the need to provide emergency foster care shelter for children aged birth to 18. Over the years, Pendleton Place has expanded and adapted to the evolving needs of the community.
In 2000, a new and larger facility was built to accommodate more youth in need. Today, Pendleton Place offers a comprehensive range of programs and services. They operate an Assessment Center in partnership with Prisma Health and Greater Greenville Mental Health, which provides medical and mental health evaluations for children entering the system.
They also have an emergency shelter for homeless youth aged 12-21 and multiple programs to support youth experiencing homelessness. With a mission to keep children safe and support families in crisis, Pendleton Place is committed to prevention, assessment, and intervention. By offering a homelike environment, structured skill building, and case management support, they strive to empower and strengthen youth and families in their community
