The Penguin Collectors Society is a dedicated educational charity established to promote the study and appreciation of Penguin Books, a quintessential part of literary culture since their introduction in 1935. Known for their accessible, attractively packaged literature, Penguin has long been a cultural force, akin to the BBC and the Open University. The Society boasts a global membership of around 400 passionate enthusiasts who delve into Penguin, Pelican, Puffin, and other series, fostering a rich community for collectors and scholars alike.

Through various publications, educational initiatives, and events such as annual meetings and lectures, the Society encourages the conservation of historical materials and provides resources for research.
