## Description

The Penguin Foundation is a conservation organisation dedicated to creating a sustainable future for little penguins on Phillip Island, known as Milawul. It raises funds to protect the penguins and the coastal environments they depend on, helping them thrive for generations. Its work supports conservation programs, habitat restoration and protection, and research and monitoring that inform decisions about penguin health, behaviour and survival. The Foundation also backs on-the-ground action to reduce threats to penguin colonies and strengthen their resilience.

Through its website, supporters can donate, choose one-time or monthly giving, and adopt to contribute to conservation efforts. The Foundation also shares updates and information about its work and impact. Donor funding helps support research, habitat care and wildlife conservation, with more than 90 percent of donated funds directed to conservation. The organisation is also raising funds to strengthen emergency response and care for vulnerable seabirds on Phillip Island, including preparation for avian influenza and future wildlife emergencies.
