Peninsula School of Art, located in Fish Creek, WI, has been an integral part of the Door County arts landscape for nearly 60 years. Founded in 1965 by Madeline Tripp Tourtelot, a Chicago-area filmmaker and artist, the school offers a wide range of workshops and classes for adults, children, and teens. From painting and drawing to photography, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, and fabric printing, there is something for everyone to explore and learn.

The school also hosts artist-in-residence programs, critique groups, figure drawing sessions, and studio rentals. In addition to its educational programs, Peninsula School of Art showcases exhibits in the Guenzel Gallery and holds various events throughout the year, including the popular Door County Plein Air Festival. The school recently underwent an exciting transformation with the Door to Creativity campaign, which included the construction of new studios, outdoor spaces, and upgrades to existing facilities.
