## Description

Penistone Agricultural Show is a long-running community event held at Penistone Showground in Penistone. Organised and staffed by local volunteers, the show welcomes families and visitors for a full day of activities, from early morning until dusk. Its programme celebrates agriculture, local skills and community life, bringing together exhibitors, competitors and audiences from the area and further afield.

The show features livestock and animal sections, including horses, Shire horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, poultry, goats and dogs. Visitors can also explore horticulture, homecraft, handicraft and vintage vehicles, with opportunities to see competitions and displays. Traders and exhibitors add to the day with trade stands, craft stalls, food stands and a food hall.
