## Description

The Diocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Mercy, commonly known as Penrose Park, is a prominent spiritual destination nestled in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales. Established in 1984 under the stewardship of the Order of St Paul the First Hermit, or the Pauline Fathers, the Shrine is particularly revered for housing a replica of the miraculous Icon of Our Lady of Jasna Góra, famously known as the Black Madonna.

Penrose Park attracts pilgrims from diverse backgrounds, providing a serene space for prayer and spiritual renewal. The Shrine offers various services, including daily Mass, Confessions, and special devotional events, such as the popular Fatima Day celebrations every 13th of the month. In addition to the main church, visitors can explore smaller shrines dedicated to beloved saints from around the world.

Committed to fostering faith and community, the Shrine also enables visitors to contribute through donations, ensuring it remains a beacon of hope and inspiration for all who seek solace in its sacred grounds.
