## Description

Pensieve Health is an Indian biomedical research organisation and ISO 20387:2018-accredited laboratory focused on advancing precision and predictive medicine. Its longitudinal database brings together genetic and health information from more than 100,000 participants, combining multi-omics data, clinical records and phenomic profiles to support research into how individual differences affect health and treatment outcomes.

Through its biobank and BioBharat project, Pensieve Health is building a de-identified repository of electronic medical records and linked biological specimens, with a focus on representing the Indian population in global genomic research. Its resources and services include the collection, storage and analysis of human DNA and plasma, disease-specific cohorts, and longitudinal clinical data. These support biomedical research and the development of more personalised approaches to healthcare.

Pensieve Health also conducts studies and shares research findings and publications. In collaboration with Vibrent Health, it followed 12,000 people previously affected by COVID-19 over 11 months; the study was published in Nature. The organisation emphasises ethical, standardised research and aims to help make medical care more effective and accessible.
