## Description

Celebrating the Life of Barbara Ward is a family-run memorial website created to remember Barbara and offer friends and relatives a place to reflect, share memories and follow plans for commemorating her life. Barbara passed away peacefully at home on 23 December 2020, surrounded by family. Because the COVID-19 pandemic prevented many people from gathering in person, the site provides a way to stay connected and honour her memory.

The website shares photographs, personal tributes, comments from loved ones, music used during the crematorium reflection, a recording of one of Barbara’s favourite hymns, and a poem written in her memory. It also provides updates on a planned celebration service at Chirk Methodist Church, where Barbara was active in the congregation and luncheon club, followed by a gathering at Overdale. Visitors can find information about the rose garden renovation, including requests for meaningful rose donations, and make contributions to Macmillan, which supported Barbara and her family.
