## Description

Penzberger Beaschdn e.V. is a traditional customs association based in Antdorf, Germany, dedicated to preserving and sharing the winter folklore of the Penzberg region. Its activities bring to life legendary figures and customs associated with the darker months, including witches, Perchten, Krampus, devils, drummers, and other characters. The association also highlights the role of Saint Nicholas, presenting him as a symbol of warmth and hope amid the winter traditions.

Through its seasonal performances and events, Penzberger Beaschdn invites audiences to experience this heritage firsthand. Its website provides a calendar of appearances and training dates for the 2026/2027 season, along with information about the club, its history, membership, and the figures represented by its members. Visitors can also explore a gallery of photographs and videos documenting performances and earlier times, and read news and updates on the association’s blog. By combining live appearances with educational material and visual archives, Penzberger Beaschdn helps keep regional customs, legends, and rituals visible for both local communities and visitors.
