## Description

The Percy Hunt is a historic foxhound organisation based in Northumberland, England, serving a country that stretches from Budle Bay in the north to the River Coquet in the south, and from the A697 in the west to the North Sea in the east. The area covers approximately 23 miles from north to south and 20 miles from east to west. The present pack traces its descent to hounds bought by Major A. Browne in 1870, and today the Old English pack belongs to the Duke of Northumberland. The Percy Hunt’s kennels are situated near Alnwick, on the banks of the River Aln, downstream from Alnwick Castle. Its website provides information about the organisation, its history, people and activities, with news, a gallery, event dates, links and contact details for visitors. The site also includes advertisements and a foxhounds’ prayer. The Percy Hunt can be contacted by telephone or email for further enquiries.
