## Description

Perineologic is a brand that is dedicated to delivering precision and safety to patient care, specifically in the field of prostate biopsy. Their flagship product is PrecisionPoint®, the first FDA cleared device that allows for free-handed transperineal biopsy of the prostate. This innovative device and technique eliminate the need for bowel prep and antibiotics prior to the biopsy, making the process more convenient and comfortable for patients. The procedure allows access to the prostate through the perineum, avoiding the rectum completely. By strategically sampling the anterior portion of the prostate, where missed cancers are often located, PrecisionPoint® improves cancer detection rates. This means patients can receive earlier detection and start treatment sooner, potentially improving their outcomes. Perineologic's approach to prostate biopsy offers several benefits, including improved cancer detection, no bowel prep, and a speedy recovery. Their mission is to provide a better and safer alternative for patients and deliver cutting-edge solutions for prostate cancer diagnosis.
