## Description

Perron 12 is a small youth residential home in Dottikon and part of the Foundation for Trauma-Informed Residential Placements. It provides a place to live for up to eight young people aged 12 and older who cannot live with their families of origin. The home offers a manageable, family-like setting described as a patchwork model family, where young people can build a dependable network of relationships.

Its care is grounded in a trauma-informed approach, with an emphasis on safety, reliable relationships, a clearly structured daily routine and meaningful participation in decisions. Support is available throughout the year, around the clock. Residents attend public schools or pursue vocational training in the surrounding region, while staff help them develop independence step by step.

Perron 12 offers fully supported residential care and, as it is developed, plans to provide partially supported living. It also provides statutory aftercare following a young person’s departure. The home is recognised under IVSE and works according to Aargau quality standards.
