## Description

PETER/LACKE is a family-owned coatings manufacturer founded in 1906, now led by David N. Peter in the fifth generation. From its beginnings as a regional supplier to the furniture industry, the company has grown into a global partner serving customers across multiple markets. It develops coating systems and distinctive visual and tactile surface effects for automotive, aviation, lifestyle, consumer packaging and metal industries, as well as glass applications.

Its technologies include water-based, powder, solvent-based and UV coatings, alongside Pehapol products. PETER/LACKE supports customers from early design concepts and master sampling through to series production, combining foundational research with customer-specific development. Nearly half of its workforce is engaged in research and development, helping the company respond to evolving requirements and create coatings that add character and value to products.

With headquarters in Hiddenhausen, Germany, and subsidiaries and service locations across several countries, PETER/LACKE offers international support through a global network. Its capabilities include local development, production and technical assistance, tailored to the needs of customers and industries worldwide.
