# Peterborough Wargames Club - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `peterborough-wargames-club.org.uk` ## Description Peterborough Wargames Club is a local tabletop gaming club for people interested in miniature wargames across a wide range of genres and historical periods. It meets every Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the George Allcock Centre in Stanground, Peterborough, and welcomes new members and people interested in trying new games. Members play using a variety of rules systems, including Warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40,000, Bolt Action, Dux Britanniarum, SAGA, WAB, X-Wing, and games from the Osprey Blue Book series. Club equipment, gaming boards, and scenery are available for members to use. Regular meetings include participation games open to everyone, with miniatures and other supplies provided and no prior knowledge of the rules expected. These sessions let newcomers explore a game or experienced players introduce a favourite to others. The club emphasizes relaxed play, fun, and sportsmanship rather than a win-at-all-costs approach. It also organizes special gaming events, including the Periphery Assault Alpha Strike tournament and Posh Lard, an annual gathering for Lard players. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Models _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ - 🎮 Games - 🎮 Board and Card Games _(under Games)_ ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Chenin | #dfd677 | accent | | Dark Blue | #3300ca | dark | | Cinnabar | #e64946 | light | ## Fonts - serif — asset _(custom)_ - serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
