## Description

Peter Malarkey Fine Art is the practice of Pacific Northwest painter and art conservator Peter Malarkey. His work centers on landscape painting, created both en plein air and in the studio, with particular attention to the light and atmosphere of the Northwestern United States. His portfolio includes Northwest landscapes, scenes of the Elwha River and the area affected by dam removal, and desert landscapes begun on location in the American Southwest and completed in the studio. The site also features paintings from Malarkey’s September 2024 solo exhibition at Rick Leonard Gallery, noting that some works have sold while others remain available.

Alongside original artwork, Malarkey offers painting conservation and welcomes inquiries about art materials, instruction, and cultural preservation. His blog shares observations on painting and creative practice, including outdoor watercolors and drawings used for learning, reference, and recording travel experiences. Visitors can explore galleries, learn more about the artist, read recent posts, contact him directly, or subscribe to his newsletter for updates.
