## Description

Petita Mimosa is a respectful, child-centered education and family activities project based in central Terrassa, Spain. It brings together two initiatives guided by shared principles: an early childhood school and Espai Mimosa, a family activity space. The school serves children from birth to age three, accompanying them with care while respecting each child’s developmental pace and daily routines. Its small-group setting, with a stated ratio of one adult to six children, is designed to create a calm, warm environment that feels like an extension of home. The educational approach emphasizes learning through discovery, freedom within safe boundaries, movement, and play, including stories, songs, finger games, and artistic activities.

Espai Mimosa welcomes families for free play and shared time with their children. It also offers courses, talks, seminars, practical workshops, and family activities with professionals. Topics include education, parenting, and healthy living, and the space is adapted for families attending with children. Petita Mimosa aims to provide a welcoming place for children and caregivers to learn, connect, and grow together.
