## Description

Sentinelles Petitcodiac Riverkeeper (SPR) is a dedicated not-for-profit organization committed to restoring the ecological health of the Petitcodiac and Memramcook River watersheds, including the Shepody Bay Estuary in southeastern New Brunswick. With a focus on addressing pollution and promoting sustainable practices, SPR engages the community through initiatives such as the Riverwatch program, stream clean-ups, and educational campaigns about local water issues.

SPR also advocates for critical projects like the Memramcook River Community Action Plan and the naming of the “Pont Petigotiag Bridge.” Their current efforts include significant restoration campaigns, historical assessments of past environmental impacts, and addressing sources of pollution such as stormwater and sewage discharge. Through volunteer opportunities, memberships, and donations, Sentinelles Petitcodiac Riverkeeper fosters community involvement and environmental stewardship, striving for a healthier ecosystem for future generations.
