## Description

Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) is the representative body for Australia’s professional footballers, including the Socceroos, the Matildas, A-League players and Australians playing overseas. Run by players for players, it gives members a collective voice in decisions affecting football in Australia and internationally. Its executive committee and club delegates represent the wider playing group.

The PFA supports players’ rights, careers and wellbeing both on and off the pitch. Its services include membership support, guidance on employment conditions and collective bargaining agreements, and the Player Development Program, which offers resources for members’ wellbeing, career development and retirement. Members can also use the PFA portal to manage membership details and access player development resources.

Beyond individual support, the organisation works to build the game through research, policy, reports and advocacy. It also contributes to the football community through initiatives such as the Community Impact Fund and Football for Good, and recognises achievement through awards and honours.
