## Description

The PFAS Project Lab is a research and public information initiative focused on the social, scientific, and political factors surrounding per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), often called “forever chemicals.” The lab brings together research, data tools, educational resources, and news to help communities, researchers, and policymakers understand PFAS contamination, health evidence, and governance.

Its work includes the PFAS-TOX Database, a systematic evidence map of health studies, and tools such as the PFAS Governance Tracker and contamination maps. The site also provides fact sheets, white papers, publications, government documents, medical guidance, and resources for PFAS-impacted communities. Visitors can explore research programs, archives, newsletters, and information on contamination sites, consumer concerns, and regulation.

The lab supports national knowledge-sharing through the National PFAS Conference, with materials from past events, including presentation slides and recordings, as well as a collection of PFAS-related films. It also shares research findings and news about PFAS science, policy, activism, and environmental health.
