## Description

Pflegeklar helps people in Switzerland who care for a family member or someone close to them explore paid caregiver employment. The service guides caregivers through the process from an initial eligibility check to advice, paperwork and employment arrangements with a partner Spitex provider. The online check and personal consultation are free and non-binding.

Eligible applicants must be adults, have the right to work in Switzerland, and provide care in Switzerland to a relative or someone close to them. After reviewing an applicant’s situation, Pflegeklar works with its Spitex partner to clarify which care hours may qualify for payment. It then helps prepare the applicant’s dossier and employment contract. Caregivers continue providing agreed care, document their hours and receive their salary directly from the Spitex partner each month. The site states that pay can be up to CHF 38 per hour; the actual paid hours depend on the care assessment. Pflegeklar also remains available for questions, while the Spitex partner provides the employment relationship and care-related support.
