## Description

Established in April 2010, PFM Board is an online community and discussion forum for practitioners of public financial management (PFM). It brings together members to exchange experience, ask questions, and explore practical challenges in managing public finances. The site offers an extensive archive of discussions, information, and advice, with free registration providing extended access to its boards.

Topics span the full PFM landscape, including budget preparation and execution, revenue policy and administration, public expenditure, investment management, accounting, financial reporting, and internal and external audit. Members can also discuss fiscal transparency, decentralisation, donor practices, budget support, and the design and use of PEFA and other assessment frameworks. Dedicated sections cover country and regional experiences, as well as emerging issues such as post-COVID-19 PFM strategies and digital systems.

Alongside open practitioner discussions and quick-answer boards, PFM Board hosts invitation-based question-and-answer sessions with leading experts and conversations reflecting on professional experience. These sessions remain available in the archive, making the forum a continuing resource for people seeking informed perspectives and shared learning across the PFM community.
