Their story begins with a girl who, despite her love for teaching elementary school children in south Louisiana, found solace and joy in coloring, stamping, and playing with paper. This creative outlet led her to the world of cardmaking, altered art, and scrapbooking.

After 18 years of teaching, she decided to embark on a new journey, teaching on the road. This journey eventually led to the birth of Picket Fence Studios, fueled by her determination to manufacture her own line of stamps, inks, and paper. With the unwavering belief and support of her husband and mother-in-law, she turned her dreams into a reality.
