## Description

pgEd is the Personal Genetics Education Project, a brand that aims to increase awareness and understanding of genetics and its implications in our everyday lives. As genetics research progresses rapidly, it is becoming increasingly important for individuals to be informed about how genetics can impact their health, ancestry, interactions with law enforcement, and more. pgEd, founded in 2006, is a diverse team of scientists, educators, and community organizers who engage with people from all walks of life to discuss genetics in a relatable and accessible manner. Their mission is to foster inclusive public engagement, ensuring that everyone, regardless of background or identity, has access to information about the benefits and ethical considerations of personal genetics. Through their various programs, pgEd envisions a future where individuals are equipped with knowledge to make informed decisions and actively contribute to the well-being of their communities and society as a whole. Stay informed and join the conversation with pgEd.
