## Description

The Prince George Horse Society (PGHS) is a nonprofit organization established in 1996 to promote the recreational, social and educational benefits of equestrian activities and make them accessible to people in Prince George, British Columbia, and the surrounding area. Its Agriplex is a public, multi-discipline riding and boarding facility serving riders, horse owners, member groups and visitors.

The site includes a heated indoor arena, outdoor competition and warm-up arenas, 60 paddocks, 70 box stalls and 58 hay stalls. Additional barns can accommodate up to 120 horses during large shows. Boarding and overnight stall requests are available, and the public may visit to watch horses, subject to facility rules.

PGHS supports riding instruction for all ages and disciplines, including for learners who do not own a horse. Activities and programs include jumping, dressage, reining, barrel racing, sorting, penning, roping, school horse and therapeutic riding. The Agriplex also hosts Top Dog Agility trials in winter and offers arena scheduling for practice and events.
