## Description

The Pittsburgh Technology Council (PTC) is the premier technology trade association in North America, serving as a pivotal resource for tech companies throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. Established in 1983, PTC empowers its members by focusing on four core areas: business development, talent retention, government relations, and visibility. The Council facilitates growth by providing access to essential resources, including capital connections, workforce development, and public policy advocacy. Members benefit from opportunities to participate in events that foster professional development, networking, and collaboration.

Through its non-profit arm, Fortyx80, PTC enhances the entrepreneurial landscape by promoting educational programs, increasing access to funding, and nurturing tech talent. The Council’s initiatives play a crucial role in advancing the region's economic development by building a sustainable tech cluster. With services tailored to businesses at all growth stages, the Pittsburgh Technology Council is committed to fostering innovation and ensuring its members thrive in a competitive environment.
